Job Training Program

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

GoodTurn Cycles provides on-the-job training to young people. The goal of our program is to develop well-rounded individuals capable of securing positions in the professional career world. Our internship program is geared toward permanent positive change, so we emphasize individual attention, helping participants set personal and professional goals while working together toward meeting them.

CURRICULUM

The Job Skills Training Program is a 3 month experience in which participants work up to 10-12 hours per week in the bicycle shop. During the training, interns will work through a job readiness curriculum that equips to find, maintain, and contribute in meaningful employment. Interns are paired with member of our staff to mentor them through their program. Mentors walk alongside interns through their program, provide assistance in finding jobs, preparing for interviews, and coping with all life throws at them. Certain students may be eligible for a paid experience or school credit (depending on school).
