MECHANICS MINI
Our mini classes focus on one bite-size mechanics topic at a time and are exclusively held at our Denver location. Show up to learn new skills and connect with other people who like bikes as much as you do! It's a low stake, come as you are class. No previous knowledge required.
These offerings are pay-as-you-can. We don't want cost to be a barrier to education. It's simple: you pick your price from $0 to our estimated value per session.
These minis are meant to give you the same "I can do this bike stuff" energy that our interns experience, no matter where you're starting from. For anyone who has felt excluded, intimidated, or uncomfortable in the bike shop setting: this one's for you! We hope you'll walk away with a new skill and a feeling of empowerment and belonging.

Brakes
Wednesday, May 3rd | 6:00-8:00 pm
We'll learn how to tell what kind of brakes you have, caliper adjustments, when to replace your pads, and other brake know-hows!

Flat Repair
Tuesday, May 30th | 6:00-8:00 pm
We'll learn how to fix a flat and what tools you'll need! This class is hosted at Raices Brewing Company, and the cost of entry is one beer.
MECHANICS SERIES
Our mechanic series is an in-depth opportunity to learn about and work on YOUR bike. These are exclusively held at our Littleton location. Show up to get down and dirty with your bike in 3 classes over 3 weeks. Plus, we will hit the trails as a group! No previous knowledge required and everyone is welcome.
Our series are a set fee of $100 to get your bike in tip-top shape.
*Scholarships are available if this poses a financial hardship for you. Please contact Mikayla (mikayla@goodturncycles.org) directly if this is the case.*
We hope you'll walk away feeling proud of the work you put in, connected to the people you met, and ready to ride!

Spring Series
Tuesday, May 9, 16, and 23 | 5:30-7:30 pm
Must attend all three sessions!
We'll learn safe and legal riding, flat repair, brake adjustments, derailleur adjustments, getting out of roadside pickles, and chain care. Plus, do a little riding!
